About this objectClear glass bottle previously containing pure Hydrochloric Acid (HCI) 35.5% W/W.
HCI was used in medical applications to adjust the pH of solutions and as a disinfectant. The bottle is machine made with a 2 piece mould, seams to the top of the lip, and a separately applied base. Markings on the base are 'A1160' and 'G13', and on the body '7'. The lid is a plastic screw top. Bottle manufacturer unknown. The HCI was manufactured by Adelaide & Wallaroo Fertilizers Ltd, 25 Peel Street, Adelaide, South Australia.
