Label reads: 'FAULDING EUCALYPTUS OIL / EMU BRAND / THE PURE EXTRACT OF EUCALYPTUS / FOR THE RELIEF OF THE DISCOMFORT OF COLDS AND INFLUENZA AND FOR USE AS AN EMBROCATION AND INHALATION. / Internal Dose: One to three drops on sugar every four hours. / As an Inhalation: Use half a teaspoonful in a pint of boiling water. / As an Embrocation: For the relief of the pain of Sprains, Rheumatism, Sciatica, Lumbago, Chilblains, Neuralgia, Backache, Stiff Neck and Muscular pain generally, rub freely into the affected parts. / BRITISH PHARMACOPEIA STANDARD / REG. On the back of the label is written: 'The name FAULDING is your guarantee of PURITY'.
the Faulding company developed a process to distill Eucalyptus Oil and developed a test to measure the eucalyptus content of the oil. Until the 1950s Faulding's sourced much of its Eucalyptus oil from the Emu Ridge Farm on Kangaroo Island.
